Mounting Yard Ceremony
A traditional ANZAC Day Ceremony will take place in the Mounting Yard at 2:55pm allowing racegoers to pay their respects to current and former service personnel. The ceremony will include the laying of the wreath, The Last Post, a minute's silence, the playing of The Rouse and performances of the Australian and New Zealand National Anthems.
Two-Up
A time-honoured tradition at Flemington, Two-Up will once again be back for ANZAC Day Race Day. Hear the historic ‘Come in spinner’ poem recited before the first spin at 1:45pm on the Flemington Front Lawn.

Art and Heritage Displays – The Cup: Comfort in times of war
Immerse yourselves in the Art and Heritage displays in The Club Stand Lobby, Atrium, Chairman’s Club and Terrace, paying tribute to the 1942 Melbourne Cup, 125 years of Army and Navy involvement, including the Australian Light Horse Regiment and Sandy The War Horse.
Flemington Family Lawn
Bring the kids and head to Flemington Family Lawn for ‘Ponies & Play’, where there will be the opportunity for kids to create their own poppy artwork and send a Postcard of Honour to a current service man or woman. There will also be face painting, pony rides and array of lawn games, including Aussie rules footy and a Kids Versus Jockey Tug Of War at 3.40pm.
